Emirates Airlines to resume flights to Nigeria and lifts visa ban
Last year, the UAE suspended the issuance of visas to Nigeria due to difficulties in repatriating funds from Nigeria.
President Tinubu, who returned from the G-20 Summit in India, discussed the disputes with Emirates Airlines and sought solutions to visa problems faced by Nigerian travellers.
According to the news that followed, Emirates Airlines will continue its flight programmes to Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to lift the visa ban on Nigerian passengers.
This decision followed a meeting between Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
