Angella Okutoyi became the first Kenyan to win a Wimbledon title as she and Dutch partner Rose Marie Nijkamp won the girls’ doubles crown.

Okutoyi, 18, had never played on grass before last week when she lost in the opening round of the girls’ singles.
Okutoyi, who achieved success despite his lack of grass field experience,
It’s my first time at Wimbledon and now I’m starting to love grass,” she said. “The surface doesn’t matter – just have faith in yourself, you can play on any surface. So yeah, I’m definitely happy playing on the turf. “I believe my success will inspire Kenyan women,” she said.
