Turkish president and his Algerian counterpart meet at the Turkish House

On Monday, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with his Algerian counterpart Abdelmajid Tebboune in Turkish House (or Turkevi Center), in New York city on the sidelines of the 78th United Nations General Assembly.

“The two leaders evaluated the political and economic relations between the two countries, the issues on the United Nations agenda as well as regional and global developments,” Türkiye’s Communications Directorate stated.

Tensions in Africa and solutions offered by the two countries were also discussed at the meeting.
