Turkey-Africa Media Summit kicks off in Istanbul
The Turkey-Africa Media Summit started in Istanbul on Wednesday with the opening speech of the Communications Director of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.
Diplomats, journalists and members of the press from 45 different African countries attended the summit.
The aim of the two-day summit is to combat disinformation and strengthen and develop Turkey-Africa media cooperation.
Among the panels organized within the scope of the summit, there are topics such as women in journalism, post-pandemic challenges in journalism, investment in Africa’s human capital.
