Tunisia will not attend any lawsuit against Israel on ICJ
Tunisia announced that it will not attend any trial against Israel on ICJ "as it indirectly means recognition of Israel", but would present its oral arguments.
In a written statement made by the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is stated that Tunisia will not participate in any case filed against Israel at the ICJ, “as it indirectly means recognition of Israel.”
In the statement, it is noted that on December 14, 2023, with the permission of President Qais Said, a request was made to include Tunisia in the list of countries that will submit oral arguments to the ICJ.
