Sudan’s Chairman of the Sovereignty Council is in Eritre
Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, went to Asmara, the capital of Eritrea, for an official visit this morning.
During the visit, El Burhan will hold talks with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki on the course of bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to develop them and issues of common interest.
El Burhan was bid goodbye at Port Sudan International Airport by the Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef and some ministers. During the visit, the President of the Council is accompanied by Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, candidate for Foreign Minister, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, Director of the General Intelligence Service.
