Sudan recalls Ethiopian envoy after execution of seven soldiers
Sudan’s armed forces claimed on Sunday that Ethiopia had executed seven captured soldiers and one civilian.
Sudanese military accused Ethiopian armed forces of executing seven of its soldiers and displaying their bodies to the public.
In a statement, the ministry said it would summon Ethiopia’s ambassador to Khartoum to directly condemn the murder.
The Sudanese Armed Forces expressed their condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives and stated that this painful event will definitely have a response.
Reactions are growing against Ethiopia’s execution after detaining 7 Sudanese soldiers in the region where tensions are high on the Sudanese border.
Sudan’s accusations were rejected by Ethiopia. Ethiopia said local militias could be responsible.
