Nigeria hosts 2-day meeting on green economy

In a two-day summit meeting on green economy this week, Nigeria hosted experts and officials to address domestic and international investment opportunities, cooperation chances and steps to raise awareness.
The UN, EU, and World Bank, along with the governorship of Niger state in north-central Nigeria, organized the Niger State Green Economy Summit under Sustainable Future: Harnessing Green Assets and Innovation for Niger State’s Development.
Experts and officials from Nigeria and foreign countries discussed topics around the green economy in different sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
