Libya’s rep. to the UN: International society must stop genocide in Gaza
Taher Al-Sunni, Libya’s representative to the United Nations, stated that Libya has adopted the draft Arab resolution which condemns the violations of the occupation forces in the Gaza Strip and urges a ceasefire, allowing the entry of humanitarian aid, and stopping forced displacement.
He said that the General Assembly of UN adopted the resolution by a two-thirds majority, noting that the Libyan mission to the United Nations is preparing to chair the Arab Group during the next month, in one of his tweet.
“It now remains a collective responsibility for the international community to implement today’s decision and stop these massacres against civilians. Libya will always remain steadfast in its positions and support for the Palestinian people until its independent state is established with Al-Quds as its capital.” he said.
