Hakan Fidan met his counterpart to evaluate Israel-Hamas war
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry hosted Hakan Fidan in Cairo on Saturday. The two evaluated the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reminded that Türkiye is always against targeting civilians and said that they are not supporting Israel’s policy to send Palestinian Civilians to Egypt.
“We do not support the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and their submission to Egypt. We are completely against this and support Egypt on this issue,” he said.
Sameh Shoukry said “The current situation in Gaza required us to have a talk a lot of times. There is a common vision for us to work together on the extreme attacks of Israel and human rights violations to people in Gaza. Civilians are at risk.”
Hakan Fidan announced that 30 of the 300 dual citizens residing in Gaza were evacuated.
