First round of Somalia Elections completed
The first round of the Somali Presidential election was completed with the supremacy of Said Abdullahi Dani.
Said Abdullahi Dani became the top 5 names with 65 votes, Mohamed Fermacu 61, Hasan Şeyh Mahmud 52, Hasan Ali Hayri 48, Şerif Şeyh Ahmed 39 votes.
20 candidates did not receive any votes.
Since a quorum was not achieved in the first round, the 4 candidates with the most votes will compete in the second round.
The candidate who receives two-thirds of the votes in the second round will win the presidential election. If a two-thirds majority is not achieved in the second round, the two candidates with the most votes will advance to the final round.
