Cameroon to chair AU Peace and Security Council
The African Union is meeting this month on the theme of the year, 'Living Together in Peace'
This month, Cameroon will chair the Peace and Security Council (PSC), the African Union’s (AU) permanent decision-making body on conflict prevention, management and resolution.
PSC will hold meetings focusing on governance, security, law, humanitarian crises and terrorism precursors as part of the African Union Extraordinary Summit on 28 May.
The PSC meetings will also be a period of consultation with partners such as the EU Peace and Security Committee and the UN Security Council.
